Terms of use

agriNews Talent is an Agrinews service that connects professionals in the livestock and farming sector — vets, technicians, sales staff and students — with employers and universities in the sector. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.

There are four types of account: candidate, company, university and administrator. If you sign in as a candidate, your identity is tied to your account in the Agrinews CRM. If you sign in as a company or university, your account remains pending validation by an agriNews Talent administrator before it can be used normally; we may reject or block it.

There are no passwords in agriNews Talent. You sign in with a one-time code that we email you each time, valid only for a short time and only for that sign-in.

You are responsible for making sure the data in your profile — experience, education, languages, availability, CV — is truthful and up to date. You may not impersonate anyone else or create a profile with data you know to be false.

Part of your record — name, contact details, position, activity, species, country — is shared with the Agrinews CRM, and saving changes to that data automatically signs you up for the Agrinews newsletters that match your profile. We explain this in more detail in our privacy policy.

You can use agriNews Talent to build your professional profile, look for opportunities and, if you represent a company or university, to manage your organisation within the service. You may not use it for purposes other than those it offers, or try to access other accounts' data.

We work to keep agriNews Talent available, but we cannot guarantee it will be available without interruption. We may modify, suspend or remove features, with or without prior notice, especially while the service is under active development.

We may block or close an account that breaches these terms, that provides false data, or that the law requires us to block. A company or university account may be blocked after validation if we detect a problem.

The name agriNews Talent, its design and its brand belong to Agrinews. The data you add to your profile remains yours; you grant us permission to display it within the service, for the purpose for which you provided it.

We may update this document. When we publish a new version, you will be asked to accept it again before continuing to use agriNews Talent.
